This is a blog about the community of Bells Corners and the issues it faces.
Bells Corners is a community entirely surrounded by green belt: mature forests and working farms, ski and bike trails. Its residents live in solid little 1960's bungalows along curving streets and crescents, lined with mature trees. There are parks, pools, and schools nearby.
And then there is "the strip". A central theme of this blog is how we as residents and citizens can deal with suburban strip malls, development, re-development, and ways to make our community an oasis rather than a blight.

Awesome vid, Hibou! I love the bike ride at the end... it almost makes biking along the strip seem safe!
Cycling along the strip is definitely NOT safe, especially when you're holding a camera in one hand and John Lennon is making such a racket.
