Yes, Reburb has been busy moving from Bells Corners to... Bells Corners! My advice to you, my friends, is to never ever ever move. Talk about sapping your will to live. But things are starting to settle, so I hope to get regular posts up soon.
Moving sux! Especially when you're moving a fridge from the second floor to the first floor in downtown Montreal, which I did last week.
The people on the top lose their grip and the guy on the bottom (moi) is crushed by a runaway two tonne frigo. Ouch! My doctor says I may recover one day from my injuries (if I live to be a thousand).
Dessert was hauling that behometh FridgeF**ker up a narrow stairwell to a third floor hovel.
This is a blog about the community of Bells Corners and the issues it faces.
Bells Corners is a community entirely surrounded by green belt: mature forests and working farms, ski and bike trails. Its residents live in solid little 1960's bungalows along curving streets and crescents, lined with mature trees. There are parks, pools, and schools nearby.
And then there is "the strip". A central theme of this blog is how we as residents and citizens can deal with suburban strip malls, development, re-development, and ways to make our community an oasis rather than a blight.
