It looks like the temporary signs at the National Bank Plaza have been reduced by 25%. Gone is the unlit Giant Tiger sign, and one of the other GT signs has been given over to the health clinic to advertise flu shots. Still, that's 3 signs on one block.
When I get a bit of time, a note will be sent to The Public Citizen. I like his style...
This is a blog about the community of Bells Corners and the issues it faces.
Bells Corners is a community entirely surrounded by green belt: mature forests and working farms, ski and bike trails. Its residents live in solid little 1960's bungalows along curving streets and crescents, lined with mature trees. There are parks, pools, and schools nearby.
And then there is "the strip". A central theme of this blog is how we as residents and citizens can deal with suburban strip malls, development, re-development, and ways to make our community an oasis rather than a blight.
